GOLD has started its activities under the project “To curtail community transmission of COVID-19 and offer direct support to the most vulnerable communities for sustenance” supported by Socio Legal Aid Research and Training Centre in collaboration with ATSEC India and Equations. Under this project, GOLD has conducted awareness programs in various places and distributed some essential kits of mask, sanitizer, soap, ORS with other grocery items among the daily wage earners and people affected by flood. GOLD also developed IEC materials for mass awareness on COVID 19 disease, its transmission, Do’s and Don’ts for prevention of the virus, etc. GOLD has been actively involved in showing kindness and compassion towards the suffering of fellow beings.
