The organization had carried a brilliant and innovative effort to motivate the community for Polio Immunization. It was strongly realized that there were emergence of resistance groups against polio immunization after every round of IPPI program. To break this barrier the organization has started a mobile campaign just before IPPI round. The cine celebrities accompanied each campaign appealing people to bring their young children to the vaccination booth during IPPI round. The performances of the folk artist, puppet theatre on truck added beauty to the whole campaigning program. There was evidence that the immunization rate has increased and barrier was broken to a great extent. GOLD takes extreme pride for its activities in recent past which has also contributed towards eradication of Polio infection from the country.
